Zero shopping stops
We don't stop at jewelry stores or textile shops that pay commissions. Those hours are yours, not the shop next door's.
The Sacred Valley, treks, custom trips and tickets, with our own guides and your vacation time spent on your vacation.
The price spells out what's included and, above all, what isn't: entrance tickets, the train and meals outside the plan.
ROUTE · PACE · RETURN. If your route doesn't fit the days you have, we'll tell you before we sell you the trip.
No commissions Highpass is a Portland travel company that plans trips to Peru, with its own team on the ground in Cusco. The complaint we hear most from travelers who've been on other tours is always the same: half a day lost between a textile shop and a jewelry store nobody asked to visit.
Four planned routes and four services that keep the trip running.
Route 01 The classic route, done slowly and without rushing.
Route 02 The Inca Trail, Salkantay, Lares and day hikes.
Route 03 Several regions of Peru, planned around the days you really have.
Route 04 Corporate groups, incentive trips and team retreats.
Tickets and permits, transfers, food tours and nature.
The solo traveler who wants to hike, the family with kids and grandparents, and the company bringing its team.
From the first conversation to your trip home, with someone who answers while you're on the road.
How many days you have, and what you really want to see.
The itinerary, the price and, above all, the exclusions.
What sells out gets booked first.
Our own guide, a pace we agree on and zero shopping stops.
We're with you until you're home.
We don't stop at jewelry stores or textile shops that pay commissions. Those hours are yours, not the shop next door's.
Entrance tickets, the train, tips and meals outside the plan are spelled out before you pay, not at the counter.
You travel with our licensed guide, not whoever showed up that morning. We know who's with you.
We order the itinerary so you acclimatize before going higher, and tell you how far you'll walk each day.
We don't run fifty-person buses. In a big group, half the people can't hear the guide.
While you're traveling, you have a number that's answered at any hour, every day.
The cards below are format samples. We'll replace them with real trips, with each traveler's permission.
Sample itinerary Inquiry received seven months ahead, permits bought the same day the trip was confirmed, preparation with the elevation profile and distance for each day, and two days of acclimatization in Cusco before starting the hike.
Sample itinerary A first day with no activities because of the altitude, an itinerary with short distances and frequent breaks, two sites swapped for accessible alternatives after checking the stairs, a private vehicle for the whole trip and meals suited to every age in the group.
Sample itinerary A program with two parallel activities each day to cover very different fitness levels, a coordinator on site for the whole trip, dietary restrictions handled for the group and a contingency plan that kicked in when a flight was delayed.
